Just arrived in Copenhagen
Just arrived in Copenhagen this morning, and it seems like a fairly sleepy city. I am staying in the new HI hostel which is huge, but unfinished. I didnt realize their kitchen was not ready yet and there are way more families than backpackers. I dont care, I can just read War and Peace and Madame Bovary. Too long in Amsterdam was draining. I felt a second hand high just from being in the lounge at Bobs Youth Hostel, a great place otherwise. Amsterdam is filled with stoners and low energy and I prefer parks and the great outdoors and people with a bit more energy. Amsterdam was fun, and pretty, but it is one of the many places on my trip where I think, 'I am glad I went, and had a great time, but I probably dont need to go again.'
