Walking Tours and then more walking

I love taking walking tours to familiarize myself with places, especially big cities…and Buda is BIG. I already mentioned that we did a walking tour here the other day. And today we covered tons more of this huge metropolis on foot. We are staying up on Castle Hill, on the Buda side, but we walked all the way to City Park beyond the center of Pest, and then back again, also tossing in a 5 mile loop of Margaret Island as well, a great fitness and athletic park in the middle of the Danube. We caught a beautiful sunset this evening…and hope this is a sign of continued good weather. Tomorrow we may take a day trip to Eger, about two hours from here, but we won’t be walking this time.
