Heading Out...
This is it! Less than 24 hours from now I'll fly from Newark, NJ to Lisbon, Portugal to begin a five month adventure through Europe. I'll travel by Eurail for the first two months, hoping to get as far as Budapest by April. We shall see how things unfold...
I've got my Eurail pass ready to go and plan on using it for the first time on February 20 to travel south from Lisbon to the Algarve region. Lots of folks use the bus in Portugal and Spain more than the train, but I'll be mixing it up with a combo of both.
My next post should be sometime later this week from Lisbon...see ya on the other side!
