I have listened to too many people on my trip and right now, I realize yet again, you cannot listen to people too much. You must do what you want and you will be happy that way. People told me, Oh, one day in Venice is all you need, and I spent two and a half, but wish I had spent three. And three and a half days in Florence, well, I wish I was spending more. Do not listen to others when making reservations and do what your heart desires.
In the meantime, I saw David by Michaelangelo today and it was just amazing. He is so beautiful, larger and more delicate and beautiful. The sculpture of an ideal man. He made my day.
