Museums
As much as I love my Lonely Planet Europe on a Shoestring, they do not list all of the museums cities have to offer. Many cities put out a museum brochure, so I highly recommend checking these out--they are usually available in hostel lobbies, in museums, or tourist information centers. Also, if you like a specific kind of museum, ask around. At a modern art museum in Copenhagen, I received several wonderful suggestions.
