night trains
i had a really good time on the train from madrid to san sebastian. a ton of people from my hostel in madrid (los amigos hostel, a great hostel) were on my train, along with a bunch of crazy ozzies. there was drinking in the hallways and in between the cars, loudness, and fun. the conductors were freaking out. i didn´t sleep as much but honestly, i had a blast. in the morning, i stumbled out of my couchette, my feet sticking to beer from the forties the ozzies were drinking. there are some crazy backpackers, and i´m so glad i´m meeting them.
