OK everybody, I’m about to leave (tuesday May 24th!) and I have a good book for all you Eurailers out there: Europe by Eurail. I’m not taking the book with me BUT it has some good tips and places to go which I have jotted down in my journal. Go to Borders and leaf through it and write some stuff down, don’t even buy it ! ( oh sneaky!)

Julie, I must add: libraries are great for that sort of thing. I actually got that title out of the library, took my time with noting down important information, photocopied pages, etc. Using libraries is especially important for researching a trip–if I had bought all of the books I looked at, I easily would have spent over 1000$.
