red molly and a friend are going to head from the States to live in Scotland for a few months. How difficult will it be to rent a flat and find a job?

I am planning to go to Scotland for vacations at the end of September, I live in Spain and have no idea what kind of clothes to take with me, is it cold? cool? what’s the temperature? What major event/festival do you suggest for me to attend?

I’m planning to take a working holiday to the UK (two years), and am wondering what sort of things I should know before I leave! I’ve got all the documents finished (visa applications, passport stuff, etc…) but are there any little things that you experienced backpackers can tell me? I know that the entire experience is making mistakes and learning from them, but are there some things I should absolutely NOT do?
