Heard about this site on nature and the outdoors in Spain from one of my former interns, Anne Austin.

Wild Spain - Information on nature and outdoor travel in Spain

Articles, reports, suggested books, a noticeboard – looks like some good info. I think I'll be delving in here some more myself, to see about hitting the outdoors from Madrid, Barcelona, or San Sebastian.

Wild-Spain also has a pretty sweet newsletter. I just subscribed to it myself, and here's the link to their archives:
