two new Sony U-series ultra-compact digital cameras
Hmmm... $200 price tag, tiny, looks pretty tough yet versatile. Another possibility - in the long line of possibilities - for my ever-elusive digital camera holy grail?

Ehhh.. it's only a 2 MP if I read correctly. You can barely get any high res with it.
I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P20 now which is 1.3 Megapixel and have been thinking about selling it and buying a Cybershot U.
The Cybershot U is very small and carry-able and for a trip to anywhere will be very usefull. My current camera takes very good pictures for viewing on the computer and I know at 2 Megapixels the photos will take up a lot of memory. Either camera I use I will take most of my pictures at 640 x 480 which with 2 64 MB memorysticks is about 600 pictures. I have traveled with my current camera which has a digital zoom and it sucks so I have learned to live without it. If something is so far away I need a zoom then I skip the picture. Do I really need a picture of the Sistine Chapel ceiling? What use will it be if I or my friends can't be in the piture? I find a Zoom is not a necesity like a flash or the ability to take pictures in the evening. My current camera has a twilight setting that works well if the picture is of something not in movement. Now about the size, it is very important as smaller can mean it will be with you more often and can get in where other cameras can't.
