You can apply for an IDL at the Post Office in the UK.

Bring with you two passport photos, some money (20 quid I seem to remember), your UK Driving Licence and, perhaps(?) your passport.

They will issue it there and then.

I know because I just got mine 7 weeks ago.

Offhand, I want to say that if you are in the UK you can get them from a travel agency. I’ll see what else I can find out though.

I would like to know how I can get an IDL. I would be traveling very much across the world and I do not want to be at a disadvantage by not having one.I currently hold a full UK Licence. Would you please contact me with this information.
