Now the hard part: where am I actually going to go?

The problem: to date I’ve been going pretty blind, drawing lines at random and wondering about how the whole route will ultimately shape up. Not a bad approach, but not a great one. It’s a good way to dream, but when it comes to making the dream reality, it doesn’t help you get there.

The lesson: name your dots first, and then connect them.

where were you searching, and what for?

Since you'd be going from one end of Europe to another, there just may not be a direct line. Not sure. If you're trying to find tickets then you may need to first decide where else you want to go from Athens? Maybe Rome, Prague, Berlin, or something?
